The Vengeance Of Miss Applesauce had me laughing out loud. That girl sure does love her applesauce! Loved the Batman-esque presentation as our heroines stumble into something straight out of a comic book.

Kat and Mouse was every bit as good as I hoped and expected, just ... one of my absolute favorite stories, anywhere.  Perfectly paced and beautifully written and characters I absolutely love.  Thank you, SoVeryFascinated.   So much more I want to say but I haven’t worked out how to hide the spoilers!  Thank you thank you thank you.

Just like with Gabby the Gray I found Kat and Mouse a little difficult to read. The characters were just so damn likeable and well written that I found myself getting tense and worried, cringing internally at the twists, wanting them to be okay, wanting to jump in and help. SoVeryFascinated did a wonderful job. A little too wonderful.

You’re so completely right about the likability of these characters.  I’ve been ‘tense and worried’ about them all week, waiting for the update and my heart was pounding this week again.  In that sense it’s hard to read but utterly worth it!

Seems like an excellent entry into the genre for those who might enjoy it. I'm keeping my eyes open for JCBeleren's future works; he's certainly befitting of the name!

Kat and Mouse is, at least for me, one of the best stories on the archive. The characters, even Hallam (oh how I despise him!), were damn well written and the plot was super interesting.
Erotic hypnosis and brainwashing mixed with harsh descriptions of what could go actually wrong in a not sexy way were wonderfully balanced.

I feel like the only logical following step is a hypnotic detective series, just like 321 already mentioned. I hope you'll make it happen, SoVeryFascinated! No pressure though

S.B.'s Beneath the Blue is a charming little sea story on land, with two ladies who seem to have a strong effect on each other. Finding out what kind of effect was a fun little ride, seeming like a little misdirection at first, then delivering with a rather musical note of hypnotic fun. Really liked the treatment between them, and how it all ended up in the end.

Kiss and Control by Jukebox was a nice surprise. I always liked the Wildrose stories, it was nice to see a familiar foe doing her thing in a sinfully sweet way. Very nice description and almost fetish-play scenes described. I do wonder if there's going to be follow-up with this, or if it's just a one-off either way. Satisfying either way since I like how it plays out.

Argos' new chapter of Quest for Tamsin played out like a nice little showdown between all the lately key players. Nice instances of loyalty subversion, magic, and re-established ownership amongst some pretty hot scenes that didn't confuse me like I thought they would. Wonderfully written as both Louis' and Elle's exploits and expertise are shown throughout and make for a great chapter to follow up on from the last.

The Request by Meleva is one of the more clever works I've seen from this author. A workoholic unknowingly constructing the instrument giving her some fun time off. I loved being taken through each step carefully, the construction, the delivery, unforseen roadblocks, and the intended end result that Raea deserved.

Tsundere by Benign Rasputin was kind of a surprise. Didn't expect the bully to eventually share how much she had in-common with her victim, but I loved how mutual everything felt between then, even with the hypnotic control the bullied levied over the bully. Easily one of the sweetest mc stories I've read in a while.

And for The Vengeance of Miss Applesauce, I wasn't sure what to think at first as I read it, but it was hard to stop reading once I started. The jingles, corny in quite the appealing way, how they get used, how Miss Applesauce never really changes, but we find how playfully sinister she is. By the end, I feel like I should've seen that outcome coming, but I love how it turned out. Almost Borg-ish, with mindless smiles and endless jingles ringing through empty heads. Quite pleasing.

I must admit it, I didnt remember this, but yes, its fun, and if someone wants to be Chloe for me, be my guest! Mind, its a fine case of maybe you didnt expect things to end up as it does, Estefania! Or maybe she did want it to end that way. A very fun story, but I might be biased, maybe?

I love that fact that, for our four protagonists, "boots" is now a verb. 

Magical Girl Syn is back! More monsters, more mayhem, more mind control! The scenes with Carice were especially hot. Welcome back, Cynthia!

Son of Sleep is off to an interesting start. I want to read more of this. I like that Hypnos himself gets some significant story time- usually in tales like this, the god shows up to bestow some MC powers and then vanishes from the plot. Poor Alex, though. His life would probably be at least a little easier if his mind control powers came from a- ahem- more visible body part. 

Still need to read: The Bakery. Kallie's stories need fail to impress- I just need an eighth day of the week to catch up!

Bit late, but better than never with reviews of some of the stories I read.

The Bakery, as others have mentioned, is a good introduction to what looks like a fun story. Cant say i expected any less from Kallie. While the gr tag isn't my thing, there seems to be plenty to offer. My only criticism is that this means no Subroutine this week!

Beneath the Blue had a twist that I feel I should have figured out. Hindsight bias at its finest, I suppose. Clever little tale.

Tickle War is another story that leaves me hoping for more. Well, given that I'm posting this after a new update, I suppose I don't have to wait any longer! Great fun, though I do hope the smoking parts are put behind soon. Personal squick.

New Dogma is a nice little party scene for a chapter. Have to say, that ending was spot on, and made me wish there was more to read. Alas, nothing in the new update. Perhaps the next?

The Request is a story I read based on someone's recommendation. Turns out they gave the wrong title, but I'm so glad for the mistake. This story was so creative and detailed. I'm not familiar with the larger universe this apparently takes place in, but has me curious about it. I do wish the "green" part had more, especially with the customer, but I still had fun reading.
