A leprechaun gives Jimmy a ring that turns any woman whom Jimmy touches into a bimbo.

It must be said that Jimmy is not truly dimwitted. He's smart yet unwise. Like anyone in an unexpected and fantastical situation, he had no idea how to process what was happening! That probably makes this story more realistic than half the MC pulp out there. Jimmy certainly starts to understand that something rather different is happening around him. As an observation and realization, I would argue that it technically did not take that long for him to realize things were happening, only taking the span of a week for changes to occur in maybe just three women (only really knew one). It only seemed longer because of weekly installments. So, this story might move a bit differently if "binge watched." Anyway, this is a really fun story. I love the head-trip of reality bending, which became quite apparent in this installment. Jimmy kind of knew what was happening from the beginning, this chapter suggests, but like anyone, it might just be more fun to live in the fantasy at first.

I liked the light hearted and silly set up within the familiar alien invasion trope. It sounded like some old comedic porno that refused to take anything seriously within its own self-awareness. Not a wholly complicated piece. This was clearly just made to be hot and fun. I was a bit surprised at his initial plan, his apparent self-control. But then again, we knew about as much as he did about the situation, and the debate on how "real" it was. In the end, what is "self-control" in the realm of Mind Control? Well, just read this story to find out.

Back at the truck stop, the redheaded man asked Jimmy a question and Jimmy answered it. If Jimmy were to think back on the conversation and recall that conversation in detail, he would realize that everything he said at the truck stop that he would like to get in a girlfriend, he is now getting. But "in real life," Jimmy knows, people don't get a wish granted, so Jimmy never makes the mental connection between the truck-stop conversation and what Jimmy now is living through.

A thought on Goldgirl in Trancetown: the mix-and-match genre conventions (the heroine being a "realistic gritty" street-level vigilante; the villain apparently having at least a bit of real psychic power or at least an extraordinary skill) worked better that I would have expected and neatly set up the heroine's capture and downfall. The one criticism I have is that there seems to be an unmarked scene transition between Goldgirl setting out to replace her shredded outfit and go on patrol and her encounter with the libidinous teens while on that patrol.

This really, really needs a major edit. Lots of weird spelling, and grammar, a nightmare to read, but thankfully short. Fine, I'd love an eye sight test there, though based on comments, they're not interested in oldies like me. But fine, that helmet thing sounds absolutely delicious, and I'd love to have it dropped over my head.

My damaged spine hates cold weather, tends to lock up completely in area of damage when it gets too cold. Sadly its something I'm stuck with for the rest of my life seemingly, unless I actually get turned into a robot!

I'm always hungry for more Calving, and this was another nice, thicc entry into that world. Obviously, the technical aspects of the writing are top notch, it's Limerick. It's premium Limerick too. Nice plotting, great characterization, plenty of levity, and subtle heat that perfectly crescendos throughout the story. Like the best Limerick stories, I find something new to love each time I make it through, usually some bit of heat I didn't pick up on before.
