I don't think there's anything I could write that could match how amazing it is to read something like this. Thank you for that.

At the same time, you're killing me saying I should know what needs to happen to make the story even better. I'm tempted to ask, but I think I'll wait until the story is done and see how it matches. I do hope what remains will end up being as well received, even if it doesn't quite go the way you're thinking.

I do have the next chapter fully planned out, but the first sentence is proving highly elusive at the moment. Hopefully I can get over that hurdle soon!

My speculation on Uplink is that the Hive no longer exists, so the new Drones end up having to form/create a new one, which can then decide on new objectives - just having the secret to awakening AI without them falling to a runaway feedback loop gives them a huge bargaining chip if they want to negotiate rather than go for full assimilation (there are enough advantages to Agent infection that a version with just the telepathic links and physical augmentation without the drive to infect and devotion to the Hive would get plenty of volunteers).

That's not to say that the new Hive would choose that route - my prediction only goes as far as forming a new Hive and having to decide on their ongoing objectives, not what those objectives would be. And it's a "this could happen" not a "this will happen" prediction.

Grey, my assumption hadnt gone down that route, but its certainly one thats possible. I could certainly happily volunteer, even more so now my whole body (and mind) seems to be in need of assistance to function properly now.

You're thinking about someone who loves Rom-MC, so when it comes to Janet, and Rachel... (and oh, hates pregnancy stuff)

Alternatively, Janet becomes so annoyed by some woman living in Yorkshire, and decides the only way she will get any peace is to use her device on her, and turn her into a mindlessly obedient, silver clad (or chrome bodied) robot! Either that, or design a time travel machine, and send her back to the 1930's with the knowledge, and skills to make it as a 20 something dancer in the musicals!

Rachel discovers time travel in the bottom of her sock drawer and ends up opening a tavern in the old west.

All the while the penguins, having solidified an alliance with the Emu resistance, prepare to invade Australia. But that is a tale for another time...

Club Lust

Brook? Johnson? Oh my darling author, it might be coincidence, but I'm flattered! Fine, would be more apt as submissive surnames, but anyway... In truth, even without that, I'd have loved this. One great ingredient, the 'victims' only get to remember events for the night, until the next time at least, I approve. Hopefully the club owners have taken precautions on the pregnancy front, because if they have, this could get really good marks, just saying. I think I'm safe, too old (and lacking looks) to be an attractive target (and no money), though my lack of sex interest would clearly qualify me, lol. So if the club has an elderly gentleman, who wants a woman who wont exhaust him too much, give me a pill, or drink, lol.
High end of definitely enjoyed. Promise of no pregnancy (and kinky clothing), maybe more?

Two green fd's in a row, I know! But this promised humour, and provided it. I'm the sort of pervert who would love to find a man wanting to buy her satin ball gowns, so if he's still free? I might have to learn the Domme stuff, or be mind controlled into it, which would be far more fun! Leather, latex, why not? Its delightfully done, and after that closing line, cant wait to see what happens next!

Yes, given the assistance this author gives me, it might be easy to be biased towards his stuff. No, I dont need to be, and he probably wouldnt like it if I was. I love Jezz and Edge, they are 2 characters that play beautifully off each other. The fight scene, especially the closing line from 'Mr Garage' is an absolutely delight. Oh, the Disco scene is pure delight, and I've been promised, via the author that Edge says it will be simple to get the device working again, and set somewhere in late 20's, or early 30's, just for me. He says he may even bring me back to the present, at some point, though no rush! Jazz is a Dish best served with illicit Gin, darlings!
Low end of much enjoyed. Genuine!

I wonder if Patricia came from Tralee? Garden folk will get that joke at least! This is very very good, with a lovely moral, and slightly surprising ending too. Mind, she was lucky, so... Great Frasier related piece.

I'm sure I'd love the pet animal makeover done to me, but fine, I am never as much of a fan when evil wins out over good like this. Lets face it, lustful revenge has never been my thing.

That's fair. I honestly don't remember if you liked the original piece or not. When I wrote it, I had some ideas to develop the plot in other installments but they all fell through at the time. This was not one of them as I only got back into this particular universe because of a recent patron request/reward. Thank you for reading it nonetheless.

Betsy's 61 Days in River City brings us... vikings and vampires? Well, this ought to prove interesting! Let's hope that someone locks up the blood bank and the hakarl (on second thought, maybe not the hakarl)

I was really interested to see where Following Her Dream was going to go after the last chapter, and it didn't disappoint. It reminded me a bit of those old mob movies where the flawed hero keeps trying to get out and keeps getting pulled back in. And now poor Janet is being asked to become the very same person she was at the start of the story. What will she do? She's already started off down a path, but... let's just hope that Rachel doesn't show up in the middle of all of this!

This week's College Undercover gave us more of crime-fighting hooker cop Carol. There's a lovely noir tone throughout this chapter, full of hard-boiled and jaded characters (hell, there's even a scene in a cheap diner!). It'll be interesting to see what kind of chaos erupts when Patrick is taken down (or what kind of chaos might erupt if he doesn't)...

Crimson Gem was short and sexy. Loved the post-hypnotic suggestion at the end!

Finally, Jezz and Edge 2 was hilarious. I'd tune in every week if this were a TV show, even if they didn't spend every episode fighting hypnotized Charlie's Angels clones in a disco!
